Peptides 101 — What I Use, Why I Use Them, and What Actually Matters

I used to think there was going to be a magic shortcut to aging well. Then I tried everything. Fillers, lasers, procedures, treatments. More than I can count. Eventually I discovered peptides and realized something important. They are not magic. They are tools. Strong habits make them work. They do not replace the work.

In this episode, Rita and I sat down with Dr. Nadia to talk about peptides in a way that makes sense. No science degree necessary. Peptides are just tiny chains of amino acids that act like a signal. Different signals tell your body to repair, recover, build collagen, boost growth hormone, support energy, or heal.

I have used copper peptides for skin and hair support. I have used CJC with Ipamorelin for recovery and body composition. When I broke my wrist, BPC-157 was a game-changer for inflammation and healing. I also use NAD because it keeps my energy high, and I do it by injection instead of IV because my body tolerates it better.

Here is what I learned. Peptides help, however your habits drive the results. Sleep. Lifting weights. Blood sugar balance. Clean nutrition. When those are strong, peptides become an accelerator. When those are missing, peptides are a very expensive Band-Aid.

Key takeaways

  • - Start with habits. Sleep, protein, strength training, hydration.
  • - Choose peptides based on goals. Healing, collagen, metabolism, recovery.
  • - Source through a licensed professional, not random online sellers.
  • - You can build up dosing slowly. Every body is different.
  • - If it does not make you feel better, stop. You are in charge.

Glow is not luck. It is a series of choices stacked over time. The right support just makes those choices pay off faster.
